How to calculate the percentage of marks:

For instance, if a student secures 1036 marks out of a total of 1500 marks in an examination, the calculation would proceed as follows:
Percentage of Marks = 1036 / 1500 × 100

Percentage of Marks = 0.6906 × 100 = 69.06%

Thus, the percentage of marks obtained is 69.06%.
